Chaiiiii Jonathan, Sambo, Ministers, others to get N3.24bn severance pay



As indicated by the Remuneration Package  set up together by the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice-president Namadi Sambo, non-returning Senators and House of Representatives individuals, priests and  presidential helpers will be paid a severance bundle of about N3.24bn as their stay in office ends on May 29th this year.

As indicated by Punch, President Jonathan  is qualified for 300 every penny of his yearly fundamental compensation which is put at N3, 514,705 and hence his severance recompense will be N10, 544,115 after May 29. This however does not influence his established advantages as a previous President.

In the same vein, Vice-President Namadi Sambo, is qualified for 300 percent of his essential compensation which is put at N3, 031,572.50. This implies that his severance stipend after May 29 is N9, 094,717.50. He is additionally qualified for his sacred advantages as a previous Vice President.

76 congresspersons who won't be coming back to the National Assembly will be qualified for N462,019,200 at the termination of their residency on June 5. They too are qualified for  300 every penny of their yearly essential compensations as severance stipends. This adds up to N6, 079,200 every representative.

290 individuals from the House of Representatives won't be coming back to the National Assembly. They are qualified for N5, 955,637.50 each as severance stipend. This implies that they will be paid N1, 727,134,875.

The clergymen, then again, will be gathering a sum of N253, 967,212.5. There are 42 clergymen in Jonathan's bureau. Thirty one of them are senior priests and 11 are clergymen of state.

Each of the senior clergymen is qualified for N6, 079,200 severance recompense while each of the pastors of state  will get N5, 872,740.

There are 113 assistants who work with the President, Vice President, Office of the First Lady as extraordinary counselors, senior unique colleagues or exceptional aides to the President. Each of them is qualified for 300 every penny of their yearly essential pay which adds up to N5, 828,625.
