15 slaughtered in Kenya surges

No less than 15 individuals have been killed and six others missing in glimmer surges that hit Kenya's Narok region, nearly 100 km from the capital Nairobi, taking after overwhelming precipitation beat the locale on Tuesday night.

Narok region magistrate Arthur Osiya said on Wednesday that protect operations have been canceled because of the downpour, communicating reasons for alarm that the loss of life could rise.

The police and Kenya's Red Cross Society are among the salvage groups.

A few vehicles were cleared away, structures in part overwhelmed and a few streets joining the region with neighboring ranges were cut off incidentally.

Property worth a huge number of Kenyan shillings were demolished.

The meteorological office has cautioned that substantial downpour will proceed into May, encouraging Kenyans to stay caution.
