Agbaje’ll bring Jonathan’s transformation to Lagos – Patience

 

Wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, on Tuesday said the Peoples Democratic Party would capture Lagos State from the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, in the April 11 governorship election.

She said the PDP governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, would transform Lagos just as Jonathan had transformed Nigeria.

The President’s wife addressed women and PDP supporters at a women campaign rally held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

“A lion cannot beget a goat, a lion begets a lion and Goodluck has delivered Jimi Agbaje. What Jonathan is doing at the federal level, he has told Agbaje to continue in Lagos? ” she said.

Her arrival at the stadium was greeted with shouts of “Mama Peace” from the PDP supporters who wore different vests with the inscription of President Jonathan and Agbaje.

Before delivering her speech, Patience danced for five minutes amidst cheers from the crowd.

She said the Jonathan-led Federal Government had positively transformed the country through the provision of massive infrastructure as well as good and functional health care and good educational system.

She said, “Unlike the APC, the members of PDP don’t tell lies, we don’t fabricate stories, we are not propagandist, we talk and do it and that is why the slogan of Goodluck Jonathan and that of the PDP is to do more. Goodluck has done it and he will do it again.”
